CASE STUDY: EARLY RESULTS
A new site, its first five weeks.
Real Google Search Console figures from a new UK home renovation guide site. It is too early to judge the results, so this page reports what has happened so far and nothing more.
The numbers so far.
Search Console, 1 September to 3 October 2026. Search Console recorded no impressions for the site from 1 July to 31 August 2026.

What we can see
- The site went from no recorded impressions to being shown in Google search about 15,300 times in five weeks, with 23 pages indexed.
- Average position improved from 75.8 (around page eight) to about 56 (around page six). Pages at those positions rarely get clicks, which is why clicks are still close to zero.
- Weekly impressions fell from about 5,600 to about 1,300 while average position improved. We do not read much into weekly movement this early.
- Of the pages Google knows about, 5 are not indexed: 3 are redirects, 1 is excluded on purpose with a noindex tag, and 1 has been found but not yet crawled.
How to read this case study.
- This is an early-stage site. Five weeks of data is not a result, and we are not presenting it as one.
- The figures come from Google Search Console and are shown as reported. They have not been independently audited.
- No traffic or revenue figures from Analytics are shown, because there are none to report yet.
- We will update this page when the site has more data.
