Who we help
From the first invoice to the self assessment return, we keep a tidy record of your income and costs and tell you what to put aside each month, so January is never a shock.
Directors have more to track than most people realise. We look after the books, your own pay and dividends paperwork, the year-end accounts and every Companies House and HMRC deadline in between.
Rent in, repairs out, mortgage statements and agent fees all sorted by property, so your return is accurate and you can see which buy-to-let is actually earning its keep.
Contractors and freelancers often juggle several clients at once. We keep every invoice chased and recorded, sort out how you pay yourself and keep the filing calendar clear.
How it works
You always know what happens next and when. Here is the usual route from hello to a calm year-end.
Day one
Tell us what you do, which software you use and what keeps you up at night. You leave with a fixed fee in writing.
First fortnight
We write to your previous accountant, connect your bank feed and set up compatible software. You sign one engagement letter and that is it.
Every month
Books reconciled, payroll run and VAT prepared. A one-page summary lands in your inbox by the tenth.
Every year
Year-end accounts, tax returns and confirmation statements are prepared, explained in plain English and filed with your sign-off.
Every quarter
Calls on cash flow, pricing and how you pay yourself, so decisions are made before the deadline, not after it.

Everything listed in your engagement letter: the bookkeeping, filings, payroll and calls you chose. If something is not in the letter we tell you the cost before we do it, never after.
Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent are our everyday tools. If you already use one of them we simply log in. If you use spreadsheets, we will help you move to software that is compatible with Making Tax Digital.
Yes, and it is less work for you than you might expect. We ask for permission, write to your previous accountant for the handover information and confirm what is outstanding before we start.
It is HMRC’s programme for keeping digital records and sending updates through compatible software. Which taxes it affects, and from when, depends on your circumstances and HMRC’s current rules, so we check this with you on the first call and keep you on track.
Yes. We review your turnover as part of the monthly routine and raise it with you well ahead of time, so registration is planned rather than rushed.
No. It uses illustrative sample pricing for this concept to show how a firm can make fees clear. A real firm would confirm a fixed fee after a short conversation about your business.
