Who it is for

Built for teams who…

  • ship something every week
  • have no data analyst
  • report to investors monthly
  • have outgrown the spreadsheet
  • need answers before stand-up
  • keep the roadmap in three tabs
  • wear four hats before lunch
  • want fewer meetings about metrics
Features

Everything a small team needs to decide what is next

No sprawling toolkit to learn. Six things, done properly, in one calm place.

Live metrics without the setup

Events stream into dashboards as they happen. No warehouse, no SQL, and no waiting for tomorrow's report to find out if the release worked.

Try it live →

A roadmap that reads the data

Pin each roadmap item to the metric it should move. Northstar shows you whether it did.

Funnels in two clicks

Pick the first and last step. See exactly where people drift away.

Quiet, useful alerts

Hear about a real drop, not every wobble.

Boards you can share

Send a read-only link to investors, clients or the rest of the team.

Keyboard first

Jump to any board, metric or release without touching the mouse.

Interactive demo

Poke the dashboard. It is alive.

How it works

From first event to next decision in three steps

  1. 01

    Add one line of code

Paste a single snippet, or send events from your own backend. Data starts arriving within minutes.

    northstar.track("board_created", {
      plan: "seed"
    })
  2. 02

    Watch the dashboards build themselves

Funnels, retention and active users appear automatically from the events you send. Rename or hide anything later.

  3. 03

Turn what you learn into the roadmap

Pin a metric to each roadmap item, set a target, and let Northstar tell you when the numbers move.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

Still unsure? Email hello@example.com and a human will reply.

What is Northstar?
A product analytics and roadmap tool for small teams. It turns the events your product already sends into dashboards, funnels and a roadmap you can check against real numbers. This page is a design concept, so the product itself is fictional.
Do I need a data analyst to use it?
No. Dashboards and funnels are created from your events automatically, and every chart can be explained in a sentence. If you can read a spreadsheet, you can read Northstar.
Is the dashboard on this page real?
It is a working front-end demo. The numbers are generated in your browser, nothing is collected, and nothing is sent anywhere. It shows the kind of interface a site like this can have.
Where would my data be stored?
In a real launch this would be a clear, specific answer, such as hosting in the UK or EU, with a link to the privacy policy. For this concept no data is collected at all.
Can I bring data from other tools?
The concept includes CSV import and a simple events API. Connectors for popular tools would come next, in order of what the waitlist asks for most.
Can IINES build a site like this for my startup?
Yes. Fast, accessible launch sites with real interactive demos are what we do. See our web development service for packages from £149.
