SHOPIFY SEO AGENCY: UK, EUROPE & US
A Shopify SEO agency for UK stores at a fixed £2,400 a month.
Shopify SEO with IINES costs £2,400 a month, fixed, with no set-up fee. Most UK Shopify SEO agency pages we reviewed show no price at all. This plan covers collection and product pages, the technical problems Shopify stores create, and AI shopping visibility under one published price. We are based in England and work with Shopify stores across the UK, Europe and the US.
Why Shopify SEO needs its own approach.
Shopify handles a lot of the basics, but its structure creates a predictable set of problems as a store grows.
Shopify generates a default robots.txt that works for most stores, and its fixed URL structure (/products/, /collections/, /pages/) means some things cannot be changed and have to be managed instead. The same product can be reachable at more than one URL, collection filters and sort orders can multiply crawlable pages, and every installed app can add weight to your theme. None of this stops a store ranking, but left unchecked it dilutes the pages that should be earning revenue.
The plan starts with a full technical audit of your theme, apps, templates and product data, and we then implement the fixes rather than hand you a report. Our wider e-commerce SEO plan covers the same work for any platform, and our approach to generative engine optimisation covers AI search alongside Google.

Shopify technical SEO: what we fix.
These are the Shopify-specific checks in the month-one audit, fixed rather than listed in a report.
Duplicate product and collection URLs
Shopify can serve the same product at /products/ and at /collections/.../products/. We check that canonical tags consolidate them and that internal links point at the version you want to rank.
Filter, sort and variant parameters
Collection filters, sort orders and variant parameters can create thousands of near-duplicate URLs. We decide which should be indexed and control the rest with canonicals, noindex or robots.txt.liquid rules.
Crawl control with robots.txt.liquid
Shopify's default robots.txt suits most stores, and a robots.txt.liquid template lets us add or remove rules, for example to block internal search or filter parameters. We build on Shopify's defaults rather than replacing them. Shopify documentation.
Collection pages that rank
Collections are often your best-ranking pages but ship with a title and nothing else. We write collection copy, headings and internal links around the searches shoppers use, within the theme's template limits.
Redirects and URL handles
Shopify's /products/, /collections/ and /pages/ prefixes cannot be removed. We keep handles short and descriptive, and set up 301 redirects whenever a handle changes or a product is retired.
Theme and app schema conflicts
A theme and a reviews app can both output Product markup, producing duplicates or conflicting prices. We check there is one clean, valid set of Product, Offer and review markup on each page.
Themes, apps and speed.
Speed on Shopify is mostly decided by your theme and your apps. See why speed matters for sales.
App review
We list the scripts and styles each app adds to product, collection and cart templates, and flag the ones that cost speed without earning their place. Nothing is removed without your agreement.
Core Web Vitals on key templates
Images, fonts, render-blocking code and third-party scripts on the templates that carry most of your revenue, measured before and after.
Liquid and metafields
Titles, descriptions, headings and structured data driven from the theme and from metafields, so improvements apply across the catalogue instead of product by product.
Product data, Merchant Center and AI shopping.
AI assistants and Google shopping surfaces both rely on clean, consistent product data.
We check that the price, availability, brand, GTIN or MPN and shipping details in your product feed match your pages and your markup, because mismatches can get products disapproved in Google Merchant Center. Shopify says eligible products are listed in Shopify Catalog by default and can reach AI shopping tools. Be aware that, per Shopify's June 2026 guide, buying through those AI channels is currently open to US buyers only. For UK stores, the practical gain today is accurate product data for Google and for AI answers, and being ready as the channels expand. We cannot guarantee placement in any AI platform. The Shopify SEO plan is a fixed £2,400 per month with no set-up fee. The technical audit and first round of fixes are part of month one. The £249 Visibility Audit and the £749 Implementation Sprint are available separately if you want to start smaller.
Most UK Shopify SEO agency pages we reviewed in October 2026 do not publish a price. Where prices are published they vary widely: from £795 plus VAT a month at one London agency, £500 to £1,500 a month for small and medium stores from a freelancer, and £4,000 to £10,000 a month for large catalogues turning over £5m or more at another agency. Compare what each price covers, not just the figure.
Yes. Shopify generates a default robots.txt that works for most stores, and you can customise it by adding a robots.txt.liquid template to your theme. Shopify recommends building on its default rules with its Liquid objects rather than replacing them with plain text, because the defaults are updated regularly. We use this to control crawling of internal search and filter URLs where needed. Source: Shopify developer documentation.
They can. Each app may add scripts or styles to your theme, which can slow product and collection pages. The audit lists what loads on those templates, flags apps that are not earning their place, and checks Core Web Vitals on the pages that sell. We do not remove an app without agreeing it with you first.
Shopify says eligible products are listed in Shopify Catalog by default and can be surfaced in AI shopping tools. As of Shopify's June 2026 guide, purchasing through its AI channels is available to US buyers only. If you sell to the UK, clean product data still matters for Google and for AI answers, but this channel is limited for now. We cannot guarantee placement in any AI platform. Technical fixes often show within 2 to 6 weeks. Collection and product page improvements typically move in 8 to 12 weeks. Competitive head terms take 6 to 12 months. We do not guarantee rankings or revenue.
The plan has a 3-month initial commitment, then rolls month to month with 30 days' notice. No exit fees, no 12-month contract.
The audit assesses your setup, including Shopify Plus, a headless front end or multiple Shopify Markets, and fixes are delivered within what your build allows. If a platform limit blocks growth, we say so plainly. International setup such as hreflang is assessed in the audit.
Yes. We are based in England and work with clients across the UK, Europe and the US. Everything is delivered remotely, with strategy calls over video and in-person meetups available in London.
